PAINTING ZONE Corp. has been founded in 2015 in Toronto, Canada by the interior designer Dimitar Petkov. Although the company has been on the market only for few months, it has gathered a lot of satisfied customers among which contractors, home owners, realtors and property managers.

Its owner and main engine of the company – Dimitar has graduated Bachelor in Design at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, class of 2001. In 2015 he arrives in Canada as Permanent Resident.

Since 1999 he has worked in TV and movie productions - in Bulgaria he was part of the team of the largest film production company in Eastern Europe - Nu Boyana Film Studios. He worked on the sets of over 40 foreign film productions filmed in Bulgaria, among them cult films like "The Expendables 2", "The Black Dahlia", "Conan" , “300” and others. Often the sets that he and his team produced for the films are used successfully for shooting commercials and music videos.
In Canada he is a permittee of both IATSE 873 and NABET 700 Unifor – Ontario Unions for TV and Movie Technicians. He has already worked in Paint Department of the TV Series Milton’s fears.

Since 2005 he has been running his own interior design and renovation company in Bulgaria – all the projects of the Company can be seen on its Bulgarian website – www.interiorendeisgn.com.

The profound experience in film industry combined with his knowledge and expertise in design has created many uniquely decorated, successful projects in Bulgaria such as rock bar ROCK IT – the largest Rock Bar on the Balkans, Tortuga fish gourmet restaurant, Club 35 and numerous apartments and houses that you can see on www.interiorendeisgn.com.
